Michel Cadieux is Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Security at Freescale Semiconductor. In this role, he is accountable for creating a high-performance culture and building the critical bench strength to compete globally.
Prior to joining Freescale in August 2008 , Michel served as senior vice president, Human Resources and chief talent officer for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where he successfully led the people integration of ATI Technologies, Inc., following AMD’s 2006 acquisition of the company.
Prior to his role at AMD, he served in a number of senior executive and human resources roles, including Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Vice President, Human Resources, ATI Technologies; Vice President, Human Resources, Telemedia Communications Inc.; Vice President, Human Resources, ING Bank of Canada; and Global Director of Human Resources, Betz Labs. He began his career in human resources at Hudson’s Bay Company.
Michel earned a bachelor’s degree as well as a certificate in business administration from the University of Ottawa. He has further enhanced his education by attending the Queen’s University Executive Development Program on Managing Human Resources.
Michel holds a Canadian Human Resources Professional (C.H.R.P.) designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario. He also served as the Co-Chair of the Executive Human Resources Forum of the Information Technology Association of Canada.
