Mark is co-owner and President of Inspire Developments – a private corporation that owns and manages 94 rental units in the Ottawa area as well as develops unique infill real estate projects. Currently the company is developing a 31 unit condominium project near the Ottawa Train Yards as well as a 3 unit townhouse project in Centertown.
Until the spring of 2012, Mark lived in Toronto for 10 years where he was President and CEO of The Futura Loyalty Group, a strategic services and technology provider to the leading rewards program operators in North America including Aeroplan, Delta Sky Miles, American Advantage Miles and US Airways Miles.
Mark is a down to earth, transparent, results oriented manager who enjoys interacting with all stakeholders in a business environment.
Mark is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Telfer School.
The Futura Loyalty Group markets a suite of loyalty products to mid size retail and service businesses in Canada. The Company promotes coalition rewards programs Futura Rewards™, proprietary cash rewards program, as well as Aeroplan®. The company also licenses its proprietary technology solutions to companies and organizations looking to operate private label rewards programs as well as transaction driven marketing initiatives.
Mark has served as Chief Executive Officer since its inception in June 2000 and brings a business background and leadership skills to the Company gained through owning and operating several successful businesses in the packaged goods and consumer service sectors. Mark is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa where he studied. He is also President of the foundation board of Child Development Institute – a United Way supported children’s charity based in Toronto. Mark lives in Toronto with his wife and two young daughters.
