Carol T Culhane, MBA
President, International Food Focus Ltd. - Toronto, ON, Canada

Carol T Culhane

Carol holds a H.B.Sc. (Food Science & Nutrition) from the University of Ottawa (1978) in addition to her MBA degree (1985). From the launchpad of a progressive career in foodservice administration with an Ottawa-based firm, followed by senior management positions in Toronto with a multinational food manufacturer, Carol fulfilled her vision of self-employment and consulting when she founded International Food Focus in 1993. The firm provides core and auxiliary services to the agri-food industry in two specializations: regulatory compliance strategies and market validation studies. Clients include organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in Canada and several other countries. In addition to her degrees from the University of Ottawa, Carol holds a Certificate in International Food Law from Michigan State University. Carol's community involvement includes visiting Alzheimer's patients on a weekly volunteer basis with her dog, Bonnie, a Certified Pet Therapy Dog; providing leadership through volunteer board involvement with both professional and trade associations, and, singing and playing the harp with a church choir.
