Alain Villemure

Born in Trois-Rivières Québec, Alain is a graduate in Geology from Université du Québec à Montréal and obtained an MBA from University of Ottawa in 1987. Since 2004, Alain is the executive vice-president, sales and marketing for the European paper manucfaturer, Lecta. This Paris based paper company, is the second largest producer of coated papers (Chemical pulp) in Europe, producing 1.5 million tons of paper per year from its mills in Spain, France and Italy. In 1999, Condat, member company of the Lecta Group, recruted Alain to establish it first North American sales office. After 11 years with Domtar, Alain was put in charge to select the site and hire the personal necessary to cover the North American business of Condat. At Domtar, Alain was part of the management team for the sales, logistic and marketing group. 

Since 1987, Alain has acquired a very valuable experience in international business. Working every day with his counterparts from the US, Canada and Europe.

Alain resides in Greenwich Connecticut with his wife Caroline, also a University of Ottawa gradute, and their three children
