Fares El Sabbagh, BCom
President, Canadian General Contractors Group - Ottawa, ON, Canada

Fares El Sabbagh

Fares El Sabbagh is a proud graduate of the Telfer School of Management's BCom class of 2007. Fares is a self-starter by any definition. By the age of 27, he had expanded 2 multi-million dollar companies across Canada; the Canadian General Contractor's Group - one of the fastest growing companies in Canada. They specialize as builders of interior home renovations and new build construction, with superior design. Most recently, he expanded CGC Group into Vancouver, B.C. Within 3 years, Vancouver General Contractors (VGC) had revenues of over $5 million dollars. Currently he has been asked to step into the leadership role of all companies within the group, serving as President of Canadian General Contractors Group. Under Fares' leadership, they continue to reach major milestones, and are on target to hit projected revenue goals. These accomplishments contributed to his being named top 30 under 30 by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Fares is a passionate individual, with a sincere devotion for his business, family and friends. An advocate and believer in continuous learning and self-improvement, he finds himself on a journey of knowledge seeking and spiritual enlightenment. He has acquired vast amounts of experience and insight, which he humbly wishes to share with those, who wish to hear the message.

Since Fares has returned to Ottawa, his hometown, he has decided to get involved with and give back to his Alma Mater. "Giving back is the best gift going forward."
