It’s clear to anyone who meets Tyler Steeves that he is passionate about creating something from the ground up and in this case we mean it both figuratively and literally. Maple sap is one of the oldest beverages on the planet and Steeves’ new company, TreeWell Limited, is bottling it in champagne-style bottles with a natural corked top, making it a unique, high quality non-alcoholic apéritif that fits a niche and suits any celebration! With an army of friends behind him, it is a testament that all the talent you need can be found right here in Ottawa. Phillip Craig, Jason Manion, Dan Gagnier, Michel Lalonde, Jasmine Bennett-Steeves and many more are the force behind TreeWell that contributed to an explosion of media coverage and rapid success on Kickstarter.
Before starting his own company, Tyler worked in the private sector selling consulting services to the Federal Government of Canada, and before that he worked for the SFUO (Student Federation of the University of Ottawa) as elected President. He studied Entrepreneurship at the Telfer School of Management and actively took part in student life, including Les Jeux Du Commerce, Place à la Jeunesse, The Telfer Student Council, and as a Community Advisor in Residence. Tyler holds an Honours Bachelors Degree of Commerce and resides in Ottawa, Ontario with his amazing wife, Jasmine Bennett-Steeves, also a Telfer Graduate."
