CONNECTS YOU TO WHAT MATTERS

Candace Enman, BCom
President, WelchGroup Consulting - Ottawa, ON, Canada

Candace Enman

Candace obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree, honors Accounting in 1996 from the Telfer School of Management and her CA designation in 1999.

After articling with Welch LLP she spent 3 years as the Director of Finance of two National Not for Profit organizations and 7 years as the Financial Controller for an international company.

Today she is President of WelchGroup Consulting where she heads up a CFO/Controllership network and a Chairman’s View advisory practice and gets to follow her two career passions:

  1. Adding value beyond the numbers (not just score keeping) and
  2. Genuinely helping clients build their businesses so they are sustainable and transferable; ensuring the right infrastructure is in place for “managed growth” and the company is always positioned to maximize its value.

“I believe Oprah says it best, “there is no such thing as luck; it’s simply preparation meeting the moment of opportunity”. The University of Ottawa has provided me the foundation I needed to capitalize on the opportunities I chose to pursue”.
