Roger Farley

MBA Graduate from the University of Ottawa, Mr. Farley has thirty years of professional experience mainly in the Government of Canada. He has held various management positions within the government. He was at the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, to the Support programs for official languages, to the Canada's policy on copyright and to the Canadian Sport Policy before joining Health Canada in 2002. Since September 2011, he is Acting Director General of the Programs Directorate of Health Canada and, among others, responsible for official languages program in health and prevention and treatment of addiction. Mr. Farley has always been very involved as a volunteer in his community. He is currently Chair of the Board of the Francophone Multiservices Centre for Ottawa West, a community organization whose mission is to offer services in French to the 28,000 Francophone living in the west of the city of Ottawa.
