Dan is co-founder and chief executive officer of QMR, where he manages the company’s operations and sets the strategic vision for the company. Dan is actively involved in the community, serving as chairman of the board for the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce in 2009. He has also sat on the Ottawa Vital Signs Advisory Committee for the Community Foundation of Ottawa, as well as serving as a director on the board of The Ottawa Partnership . Recognized as a leader in his field in the national capital region, Dan is also a member of the Government Temporary Help Services Advisory Committee (GTHSAC) managed by PWGSC to develop approaches to government professional services acquisition capabilities. Dan is a 2006 recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 Award and is the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management Young Achiever's Award recipient for 2006. Prior to founding QMR, he worked as a strategic corporate alliance director for Nortel Networks, as well as a trade commissioner in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. Dan Moorcroft holds a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Ottawa, as well as a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, law from Carleton University.
