André is a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and a Trustee in Bankruptcy.
He is a Senior Vice-President in BDO's Ottawa Financial Recovery Services office and also manages the Financial Recovery Services practice for the Ottawa region and eastern Ontario.
André assist individuals and businesses in finding creative and practical solutions to resolve their financial difficulties. He has a broad range of financial recovery experience including bankruptcy filings, proposals to creditors, receiverships and court appointed Receiver-Manager. André is known for his ability to deal with complex issues and to assist debtors and creditors in reaching mutually beneficial solutions.
His experience includes corporate mandates in the knowledge-based, manufacturing, real estate and retail industries. In addition, André has assisted numerous individuals and businesses in negotiating successful settlements with Canada Revenue Agency with respect to tax debts.
André is frequently consulted by insolvency professionals, government agencies and financial institutions for his expertise on insolvency related matters.
He is a member of the board of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals. André is also a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals Small Practice Liaison Committee.
